In this episode of Ask Larry Anything, Larry talks to a woman whose 18 year old lives in the basement, does nothing but play video games, cusses her and her husband out and makes lousy grades. Some tough love from Larry for sure!

We’ve become a society of weenies. Think about it: we get bad service, for the most part we don’t do a thing about it. We walk down the street and watch people throw their trash on the ground, but we don’t want to say anything to them. Whats happened to us? Well it has to stop. That’s why I wrote this book, Grow a Pair: How to Stop Being a Victim and Take Back Your Life, Your Business, and Your Sanity. Its exactly what we need right now in this country. Always love me a burst of Larry Winget in the middle of the week! Great advice, Larry – loved how you turned that around and told the Mom that she is the one who is messed up. Whether or not you are talking parenting, your advice always rings true for many other facets in life and business- which is why I was happy to see you with the ‘Grow a Pair’ book in your hand, too – great book, great tips for business and family – and easy to implement.
Thanks, again!
Pat
Another rockin’ recommendation for that mom, Larry!!
Another home run, Larry. Maybe someday there’ll be a show called “Mr. Winget’s Neighborhood”? I’d give the DVD series as a gift to all the parents I know who are trying to be ‘friends’ with their kids instead of holding them accountable.
Spot on advice Larry! Love it. Like you, I’m so sick and tired of parents whining, complaining and pointing the finger to “out there” as the problem when their kid’s behavior is crappy They own the problem – they own the responsibility – they created the mess – Quit whining and like you say Larry…”Grow A Pair”
