Great video & is something I’ve been studying over 2 years. I have many things like most people, that are done addictively.
I want to change them but yes, it’s very hard initially. There are great books out there about Neuroplasticity and how the brain actually is hardwired by habits but by changing our thoughts, and most importantly our repeated actions we actually change our brain & the more we do the correct habit the more the old area weakens (bad habit) and the new area (good habit) strengthens and easier it gets to do things because on auto-pilot (the brain is hardwired into new habit). For people like me that thought certain things were just too hard for me to do, gave me belief and hope that it can be done. Several successful habits later, I’ve overcome things never thought I’d beat. Now I’m doing it with habits of healthy eating and exercise to love over 150 lbs. So far, so good. You are so right about commitment and planning though. Plan for possible obstacles and what response will be beforehand and just do it, and do again, and again. Soon, don’t even think about doing stuff that was so hard to not do. Process, not perfection. There’s no quick fix. Good advice Larry!
Paris!!!!! Love that. Setting goals – identifying what you want, why you want it and how BAD you want it ……it’s really simple, actually. Great advice, Larry. It’s all moment by moment by moment. For me, it’s making healthy food choices, one meal at a time because I know what I want, why I want it, etc. –
When we want something really BAD, we all know how to make it happen.
Great stuff. Merci beaucoup!
