Oh Larry,
This episode I can identify with. I’m nice too and bullied. Your right. I allow it. You would think after 40 years in my industry that I’d learn how to draw the lines. I’m starting to understand the need for these lines. I bet I’d have less stress. Saying “NO” and still doing the extra work at great distress is not drawing lines. I’m 60 years old and still learning. No means NO! Thank you.
Great answer Larry. Although there are times when it is better to be nice, especially when you have to agree to disagree. Doing the “right thing” is often viewed as being weak when frequently it is drawing the line. Keep Doing It, Jim
Another great video clip with one of the most powerful messages ever – ‘we teach people how to treat us’ – we have the power to stop with the victim mentality (the ‘Mr Nice Guy’ syndrome) – love that you always give it to us straight, Larry.
Well said.
Keep up the good work – and happy birthday!!!! 🙂
