DID YOU SEE ME ON FOX WITH CAVUTO THIS WEEK?
In case you missed me, check out my video vault later this week to see my latest rants on the topic of the economy and what people should be doing with their money.
MASTER MINDS OF BUSINESS
Maybe you got an email blast about this from me. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out yet, let me give you an idea what this program is about. It is six experts in the field of Customer Service providing 15 minutes of training plus a 3 minute lesson every week for six months. I know all of these people and can vouch for each one’s content. I am one of the experts and I know my stuff is good!! You get all of this for $29.95. This is a cool program and worth the money for sure. We are finding that people are using this program in a variety of ways. Either for their personal use or managers/leaders are buying multiple copies so an entire remote sales force or management team can get one consistent bit of training at the same time. They can then do a conference call for discussion or just have the confidence to know that their entire team got the same training. There are many creative ways people are using the training and I am sure you can figure out even more. If this group of people showed up at your office to do their bit for your people, the collective fee for this information would be well over $100,000. Yep, I know what all these folks charge to show up and that is what it would be. And while you only get a short lesson from each of us, you get to view it when it is convenient for you AND you get the weekly reminders and updates. This first one is Customer Service but there will be more programs to follow – you will have new programs coming along soon on Sales, Money, Leadership and more.
GO VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!
The election is this week. Go vote. No excuses. Just do it. Vote for anyone you want to but take the time to voice your opinion by casting your vote.
THE TRUTH BE TOLD
Not only is it the name of my new Member’s Only Site but it is also the name of my brand new DVD/CD combo just released this week. You get 90 minutes of me live on stage in front of an enthusiastic audience doing all my best stuff and about 45 minutes of all new stuff. It’s a little pricier than my past DVDs I know, but this one contains both a 90 minute DVD PLUS a CD.
COMING SOON
The new book, People Are Idiots And I Can Prove It will be coming out December 30. It can be preordered now on Amazon. But I would suggest that you wait until my big push happens the first week of January. Why? Because if you buy during my special promotion, I am going to give you some great free stuff and you don’t want to miss out on the free stuff.
Also coming soon is another new DVD/CD combo called Larry: Unleashed, Unplugged and Out Of Control. This was also recorded in front of a live audience when I shot the PBS special. I have gotten off on rants before from the stage but this is all brand new stuff that you won’t want to miss. I think this is the best stuff I have done from the stage. I think I will bring it out next month so keep watching for it.
Larry, I am not cheap, and I would like to subscribe to your blog. I can’t believe the financial problems that are happening to me. I have no credit card bills, just a mortgage on my house. And here is my plea, my company just downsized and fired a bunch and cut salaries. Mine was cut in half. So I have been concentrating on making more commission and finding other work. I have purchased all of your books, I could line them up and take a digital pic if you want. I enjoy what you have to say enormously, Can I have a peek at your blog for a week to see if I am going to cut something out of my budget to subscribe to your blog. Thanks.
all you and anyone else has to do to get a look at my pay member’s site is go to The Truth Be Told and register and then enter larry4free in the passcode.
You will get to see the debut issue for free.
Larry
Larry – Financial guru are coming out of the woodwork with suggestions on surviving in today’s economy. All advocate cutting back on expenses, brown-bagging lunches, etc. All wonderful suggestions for those who can do these things. My question — what do those people, who have already cut back as far as they can, do? I’ve always wondered about this but now am doubly concerned not only fo my clients but for myself as well.
I work with the elderly and my clients are scared to death.
A serious accident two years ago devastated me financially — wiping out my business and savings. Am working at a J-O-B 32 hours a week and clearing $1000/month. By the time I’ve paid insurance and utilities, there is no money for food, gas, etc. My son has taken over paying my mortgage. Not only is it humiliating, but I’m having to sell him the house I love in return for his help. I’ve been looking for another job (part-time to supplement other job or full-time to replace current job) while trying to rebuild my business. The nature of my business is such that new clients come by referral; it took me five years to get to the point that it was almost self-sustaining before my accident. I’m 62 and disability resulting from accident keeps me from taking many jobs; ageism & over-qualification are also factors. Yes, I’m even applying for entry-level jobs.
Have looked into fuel & utility assistance (I’m just over the income limit) and have started visiting the local food pantry. Because I’m not eating as well as I should, I’ve lost 25 lbs since May, but can’t afford to even go to the second-hand stores to purchase clothes that fit.
Never was one to eat out or go to the movies, etc.
Have been selling off household possessions on craigslist & ebay and have been looking into other home-based business I could do in my “spare time”; most are rip-offs taking advantage of the desperation of others. Have started doing on-line surveys & actually made more than one meal out of freebies obtained by doing this.
I tell you all this — not for sympathy (it’s in the dictionary under “S”), but because there are thousands (maybe millions) of us out there for whom the usual advice is not applicable. Hope you can offer us something new. Sorry for the length.
Larry,
What a hypocrate you are. You voted for “The One” Obama that wants to reward bad behavior and tear this economy down.
You always preach personal responsablilty in the home and yet you back a person like Obama that wants to socialize everything and give a handout to those that do not pay taxes.
You just have lost all credibility with me. If I were you I would not let it get out that you voted for Obama. At least next time you are on Fox with David Asman ask him not to mention that you Voted for Obama!!!!
Un Freaking Believable!!!!!!
This little response is to Arick and the couple of others who have written me about my being a Democrat and my voting for Obama.
There are many reasons to vote for a candidate.
One reason is because you think the guy he is running against if too damned old and mean and that his running mate is an idiot.
And more issues are at stake than JUST the economy. AND why can’t a Democrat be fiscally responsible? That doesn’t belong to a party.
Evidently, I was not alone in thinking Obama was the right choice since there was a two to one margin that voted him in. And no one can honestly agree with every position that any candidate makes. You vote for the guy who most closely aligns with what you believe. That includes economic issues, social issues, world views, the war and more.
Arick, I wasn’t looking for anyone’s approval by voting my conscience or my heart or my knowledge. I did the right thing based on my beliefs and I am glad you did the right thing based on your beliefs. My side won. Move on.
By the way, they BOTH voted for the $700B bailout. And they both let the $140B in pork get through. Shame on both sides for that one. Your guy voted for a handout just like my guy did.
PS: The economy is already “torn down.” It is going to get worse. Obama didn’t do it, Bush did it. Let’s not tie Obama to “tearing the economy” down.
One more thing, MSNBC has Pat Buchanan and FOX has me – cool, huh?
