I read a lot of books……I mean a LOT of books. In the past twenty years I have read over 4,000 books. These books cover everything from business to personal development to biographies, spirituality and great fiction. I love books! In fact, I have a major in Library Science along with a major in Psychology. Now there are two practically unknown facts about me I have rarely revealed!
I get lots of questions about books to read. I am going to start a regular running blog about books you should read. Some of you will hate them…..that is fine with me. No one will like all of the books. Friends recommend books to me all the time and after reading the book, I say “What were they thinking???” I recommended a book in one of my regular emails to my subscribers and one guy wrote me saying he would never listen to me or buy my stuff again because I recommended a book that he bought and didn’t like. He said I should never recommend books because it hurts my own credibility. He also said he was opting out of all contact from me because he didn’t like the book so much. Bye…..I’ll miss ya! Yeah right! Okay, that’s the deal. I will recommend a book and you can choose to read it or skip it. Either is fine with me. But trust me on this: I will only recommend books I like and have actually read. And I’ll tell you why I think you should read them.
Hi Larry
Thanks. Indeed not all books are for all people. We have a choice, to read or not to read. Look forward to your book sharing.
Warm regards
Tiat
Hi Larry….you are doing good work!!….If I can get 1 idea,or a different way of looking at things, from a book ,then I am happy!!…Hell, I got a good boost,(and a good laugh)……AND….you got a sale …from the TITLE of yours!!
Thanks

I run into so many people like Larry was describing. These are people with fixed mindsets. They are not open to new possibilities or new ways of thinking. I consider myself an avid reader (about 60 books per year) and not all are winners. But even the books that are extremely difficult to wade through still add to my store of knowledge. If nothing more than being more alert about what I select or seeing what does not work or understanding poor writing styles.
Like Larry, I have learned that not all folks are going to view the world the same way I do. And I am totally okay with that. I do think the narrow minded, fixed mindset folks are missing a lot of life. But I am have made the decision to concentrate my efforts on those who want help rather than those who need it.
Just taking a lesson from Larry.
God love you Larry, what a powerful positive philosophy. I too am an avid reader, but I have only read one or your top 5. 4 more for my collection and food for my mind. Thank you and god bless!
Well well Larry. I think your information is wonderful and I have utilized it by paying myself first and sharing your principals for personal and business riches to my friends. We like your no nonsense approach and we get a big chuckle at your delivery. I wish I knew you when I was 12 – 45 the age I am now! I would have actually listened to you because of the sensible advise you give and who knows……maybe by now I would have been filthy rich! However I have just discovered your books and emails and I find them convincing and I actually apply the principles you advise. So if you only had 2 thanks you’s……here’s another one! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! You’re a treasure and a big influence in my life via books because my actual life growing up?? I had a very mentally weak father…an alcoholic and very abusive and a co-dependent mother who are celebrating their 58 wedding anniversary this month! Doesn’t that just leave you perplexed? It does me and guess what? They aren’t rich either…you can say they trained their 5 children right down the poverty path….now I am saving all I can and feel like I am overwhelmed because I want to be rich in spirit, soul, and monetarily. So thank you to your messages……they have helped me keep faith and hope in trying to obtain my goal of a millionaire soon….although I am still no where near that goal……I just keep plugging away…..Thank you.
Sincerely;
Trina
